LEWISTON — Oak Hill defeated Monmouth in overtime of the Mountain Valley Conference girls’ soccer championship game Thursday at Lewiston High School.
The Raiders won on penalty kicks, 3-2, after the teams ended regulation tied 1-1.
Emily Dillman netted Oak Hill’s goal, and Audrey Fletcher scored for Monmouth.
Raiders goalkeeper Paige Gonya stopped three shots in regulation. Jade Sturtevant helped Gonya with a sweeping save near the goal line in the second half.
Emma Johnson made eight regulation saves for the Mustangs.
Oak Hill, the second seed in Class B South, will open the postseason with a quarterfinal matchup Wednesday against the winner of Saturday’s preliminary game between Greely and Spruce Mountain.
Monmouth, C South’s top seed, will face either Sacopee Valley or Madison in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Mt. Abram 2, Hall-Dale 0
LEWISTON — In the boys’ MVC championship game, Mt. Abram beat Hall-Dale 2-0 at Lewiston High School.
Mt. Abram, the No. 4 seed in Class B South, hosts No. 5 Monmouth in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Second-seeded Hall-Dale will take on No. 7 Traip Academy.
