LEWISTON — Panel on Criminal Justice Reform, 7 p.m. Muskie Archives at Bates College. Panelists: Maine State Prison warden Randall Liberty and Sen. Mark Dion, former Cumberland County sheriff and chairman of the Legislature’s Criminal Justice Committee. Free and open to public.
SATURDAY, Oct. 13
AUBURN — Auburn Fire Department open house, noon-4 p.m., at Central Station, 550 Minot Ave. The event commemorates National Fire Safety Month. The public will get fire safety tips and a chance to visit with firefighters and Auburn police officers, see firetrucks, use a fire hose, try on gear and enjoy a bounce house.
AUBURN — Riverwalk Blues & Arts Festival, 2 to 7 p.m. along Main Street. Free and featuring live music by Juke Joint Devils, Voodoo Clowns, Black Cat Road, Continental Shakedown, and local artists, food trucks and a jam session finale.
