The town of Bradley will hold its annual fall cleanup Saturday, October 13 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Items can be dropped off at the temporary transfer station at 686 Main Street. Property owner identification from the town is required. 2018 property owner identification stickers are $1.00 at the Municipal Building If you purchased a sticker earlier this year, that remains valid for this clean up.The sticker must be affixed to your vehicle.
Acceptable materials include miscellaneous household items, car batteries, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, empty gas cans, empty gas tanks, auto parts, waste oil, stoves, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, file cabinets, tables, chairs, water tanks, furniture, mattresses, radios, carpet (cut in four foot sections rolled and tied), small amounts of sheet rock and plaster. $2.00 per propane tank/cylinders and per tire on a rim will be charged on site.
Unacceptable materials include any container that has a liquid i.e. glue, tar, solvent, resin, paint, caulking, gas, auto parts with liquids, mercury thermostats, wood waste or brush.
At the municipal building at 165B Main Street, electronic waste can be dropped off. This includes broken and unwanted TVs, monitors, computers, laptops, printers, scanners, cell phones, game consoles, digital frames, cameras, and fluorescent lighting.
