LEWISTON — Jackie Marie (Blouin) Cheche 58 of Cottage Street passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 28, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side. Jackie was born March 16, 1960, in Lewiston, a daughter of Arthur and Nancy Blouin. She was educated at local schools. She got a degree as a certified nursing assistant and then worked at Schooner Estate and bartending at Little Joe’s and Pine Grove.

Jackie enjoyed decorating with her daughter, Wendy; listening to music and dancing; cooking for family and friends; and fashion.

She is survived by her husband, Dean V. Cheche, of Lewiston, whom she married at Holy Family Church; daughter, Wendy Blouin, of Lewiston, father, Arthur Blouin, and wife, Marie, of Norway; sister, Pauline Blouin, of Turner; brothers Paul Blouin, of Lewiston and Robert Blouin of Greene; and five nieces and a nephew.

She was predeceased by her mother, Nancy L’Italien, and sister, Doris Bade. May she now rest In peace with her loving mother and sister.

Visitation at Fortin/Lewiston will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston.
