DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have some adult-size costumes that I would love to give away. There is a complete set of Raggedy Anne and Andy; two, two-piece matching clown sets; partial sets of Robin Hood and Maid Marion, plus other miscellaneous costume pieces. These would be great with Halloween coming up.
I am in Farmington and can be reached at 778-4429. Please leave a message and I will get back to you.

ANSWER: Wow! This is so generous of you. I’m sure you’ll get calls right away!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: You helped me in the past and I hope you can help me now. I have over 10 Work Basket Magazines from the ‘1970s and ’80s. I would like to give them to someone who will enjoy them. I can be reached at 491-4609 or 645-2601.
I read your column every day and enjoy it very much.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Can you find someone who would set up and sell things at a barn sale for me? I have a lot of different items to sell, but am not physically able to do it.
— Francois, no town
ANSWER: There does seem to be a need in the area for a professional organizer to do this type of work. This is the second request I have received from a reader in the past couple weeks. Does anyone in Sun Spots Land have a recommendation for a trustworthy individual or organization to hold a barn sale for Francois? Please let us know ASAP!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: You are the one who can help me. Yesterday when I came home, someone left a basket full of tomatoes on the woodpile. I don’t know who the giver is, but I want to thank them very much. The basket is very pretty and I will add it to my collection.
— Heidi, Dryden
ANSWER: This is a great opportunity to thank Heidi and all my other very faithful Sun Spots readers for writing in. Even though I don’t know any of you personally, it’s so uplifting to hear from Sun Spots “fans” as they share their “gratitude attitude”.
