LISBON — The Methodist Women of the Lisbon United Methodist Church will serve a bean supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the church on School Street.
Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and younger.

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park St., will hold its monthly bean supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children age 6 to 12 and children 5 or younger are free.
Entertainment will be provided by the Park Avenue Pickers, beginning at 4:30 p.m. For more information, call the church office at 207-782-3972.

NEW SHARON — There will be a public supper at the New Sharon United Methodist Church from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. The menu includes baked beans, salads, chop suey, mac and cheese, casseroles, cole slaw, rolls, pies and coffee.

AUBURN — There will be a baked bean supper at Sixth St. Congregational Church at 109 Sixth St. from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 12, under age 5 is free. All are welcome. Take-out is available.
The price is $8 for adults and $3.50 for children younger than 12. The church is handicapped accessible, and the supper is under the direction of the Woman”s Society. Proceeds will be used for current expenses.
The next supper will be Oct. 27. There will be no suppers in November or December, suppers will resume in January.

OXFORD — The Oxford Recreation Department, Oxford Baseball Softball Association, the Anderson Staples American Legion Post 112 and the Oxford Recreation Committee will serve a community barbecue for Oxford residents Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 4:40 to 6 p.m. or until supplies last. It will be held at the Legion Hall at 112 King St. Bring a chair or blanket.

NEW GLOUCESTER — A pig and chicken barbecue will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the AMVETS Post 6, Lewiston Road, Route 100.
The cost is $12 for adults; $10 for military with proof; and $5 for children 10 and younger.
