RUMFORD — Paul A. Pelletier, 57, of Wyman Hill Road, Rumford, died Thursday, Sept. 13, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Rumford.

He was born June 10, 1961 in Rumford, the son of Roland and Helen (LeBlanc) Pelletier, SR., and graduated from Rumford High School, Class of 1980.

Paul was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, a member of Union Local 900 and the United Bikers of Maine.

Paul worked in the Maintenance Department of the Rumford paper mill for many years and was active in its Safety & Hazmat Program.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Pelletier, and companion Jason Wilkins of Dixfield; a son, Michael Pelletier, and companion Jennifer Meattey of Rumford; three grandchildren, Westin and Trevin Thibeault and Emelia Pelletier; a brother, Roland A. Pelletier Jr and wife, Judy, of Rumford; three sisters, Margaret Hardy and husband, Mike, of Rumford, Lorraine Milligan and husband, Brian, of Hanover, and Georgette Hodgson and husband, Steve, of Rumford; his former wife, Jacqueline Pelletier, of Peru; his former son-in-law, Christopher Thibeault, of Peru; and was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Kathleen Voter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue, Rumford. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A Celebration of Life will follow Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Rumford Eagles Club (on the bar side), 13 Oxford Ave., Rumford.
