FARMINGTON — Arnold W. Bryant, 70, a resident of Livermore, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. He was born Aug. 9, 1948, in Farmington, the son of Roy Bryant and Shirley Jordan. He attended school at Leavitt and in Livermore Falls. He proudly served in the United States Navy.
Arnold worked for the Otis Mill from 1977-2008 as a boiler operator and retired after 31 years. In October 1992, he married Nancy Downs. His passions were hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and camping. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on small engines. He was known as “Hornebeam” on the CB and N1NXM was his call sign on the ham radio. He was a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son, Shawn Bryant and his fiancée Tracy Bonnevie of Jay, his daughter, Darcy Degone of Livermore Falls, his stepson, Richard Tracy of Livermore, his grandchildren, Katie and Eric Gallagher, Crystal Tracy and Richard Tracy III, three great-grandchildren, Chloe and Landon Gallagher and Serenity Tracy, his brother, James Bryant, his sister Darlene Morris and her husband Stan and his Aunt Charlotte Jordan.
He was predeceased by parents, and his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Erville Kennedy.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Finley Funeral Homes, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment, Demerritt Cemetery, Route 108, West Peru.
