BRUNSWICK — The Theater Project is kicking off their 47th season with the world premiere of “Seal,” an original play written by Clay Graybeal and directed by Michael Rafkin. “Seal” opens Friday, Sept. 28, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 14.
This theatrical thriller will have audiences wondering whether lead character Greg Scott is the (very paranoid) victim of a dark government conspiracy or whether he is one of the most dangerous men on the planet. The staff of the Cumberland Clinic search for answers, but each new discovery only deepens the mystery.
Performance times are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Sept. 28 show will feature an opening night celebration with refreshments; the audience is warmly welcomed to stay after the show to meet the “Seal” cast, to help celebrate the start of our 47th season, as well as to honor Wendy Poole for her 25 wonderful years as Theater Project executive director.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, $10 for children (12 and under; kids under 2 are free as long as they sit on a patron’s lap); Thursday shows are always “pay-what-you-want.” Tickets are available anytime at theaterproject.com or by calling the box office at 207-729-8584.
