LEWISTON — It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our youngest brother, Dennis Emile Lessard. Dennis was welcomed home by the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Dennis was born Feb. 24, 1961, the son of Armand (Rusty) Lessard and Therese (Aube) Myrand. Dennis was raised in Lewiston and attended Lewiston schools. He held multiple jobs in the shoe industry as well as retail. He loved to watch the Boston Bruins and WWF. Dennis was a kind and gentle soul, who always had a smile. His bright blue eyes would light up the room. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his sisters Priscilla (Leo) Lebrun, Claire (Robert) Gagne, Joanne (Michael) Albert; a brother, David (Janet) Lessard; stepsisters Julia Atchley, Patrice Gagne, Mary (Bebe) Fortin, Clare Brewer and Joan Garant; stepbrothers David Myrand, Daniel Myrand and William Myrand; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents and stepfather, G. Daniel Myrand; a sister, Lucille (Lessard) Myrand; a step brother Paul Myrand and a niece Renee Myrand.

A very special thank you to all those who supported Dennis in his journey at Washington Manor, Looking Ahead Clubhouse, staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, TriCounty, Blue Willow Counseling, the ladies at Dirigo (Rainbow) Credit Union and Andy and Ray at Union Street Market, and his niece, Terry Lebrun McNally, with whom he had a special bond. We thank you all for your unconditional love and support.

Until we meet again Dennis, “Catch ya on the flip flop.”

Dennis Emile Lessard
