AUBURN — John Blanchette, president of Community Little Theatre, will address the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club on Thursday, Aug. 23

The meeting is from noon to 1 p.m. at Village Inn restaurant, 165 High St.

In a theater career spanning 35 years, the Lewiston resident has appeared in plays, musicals, ballets, operas, TV and film, both amateur and professional.

Some of his favorite roles include Sidney Bruhl in “Deathtrap,” Lenny Ganz in “Rumors,” King Arthur in “Camelot,” and Polonius in “Hamlet.” He has directed “A Few Good Men,” “Spamalot,” “Singin’ in the Rain” and “Anything Goes.” Next summer he will direct “Mamma Mia”

He is owner/instructor of Two to Tango Ballroom Studio. He coaches the Bates Ballroom Team and is a certified insurance counselor for Champoux Insurance.

Guests are welcome and no reservations are required. Lunch will be available at the restaurant.
