LEWISTON — Beatrice L. Pierce, 89, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 13, at Marshwood Center in Lewiston. She was born March 21, 1929, in Lewiston, the daughter of George and Gladys Sampson. She attended school in Jay. On Oct. 25, 1947, in Phillips, she married Richard Phair. He passed away in 1999.

Beatrice worked for Dexter Nursing Home, boarding homes and shoe shops. She enjoyed going to yard sales, gardening and shopping. She was known for having the most beautiful garden around.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Adams, and her husband, Lorriston, of Livermore Falls, and her stepdaughters.

She was predeceased by her sons Herbert Phair and Richard Phair Jr.
