GREENE — For the Sawyer Memorial Children’s Day program, Leland Faulkner presents “World of Wonder” at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 only. Admission is free.

“World of Wonder” is a live performance that transports audiences into their imagination.

Faulkner is a master theater artist, and his program “World of Wonder” shares engaging stories full of magic and imagination that create unique experiences that promote kindness, respect and amazement.

Faulkner’s theater career was developed under the mentorship of Tony Montanaro, the legendary mime and teacher with whom Faulkner toured for many years. Other influences include his experiences as an award winning filmmaker and television producer. He has worked around the world, and was recently a featured artist at international circus festivals in Montreal, Canada, Wuqiao, China, Ankara, Turkey and Izhevsk, Russia.

Faulkner presently tours, teaches and directs for a living. He was recently the physical comedy director for the St. Louis Repertory Theatre’s hit production of “One Man Two Guvnors.” He lives in Maine with his wife and daughter.

The show will be presented at the Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Memorial, 371 Sawyer Road. Following the show, there will be a special treat for all audience members paid for by the Sawyer Foundation.
