LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, together with Uplift LA, will hold Business After Hours from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 16.
It will be hosted by St. Mary’s Nutrition Center, 208 Bates St., Lewiston.

Uplift LA will collect school supplies during the evening to help the United Way of Androscoggin County’s Backpack Project Initiative. Some of the items needed are backpacks, pens, pencils, highlighters, glue sticks, glue bottles, hand sanitizer (small bottle), single-subject notebooks, folders, rulers, markers, crayons, pencil sharpeners, color pencils, calculators, compass, protractors and individual packs of tissues.
