DEAR SUN SPOTS: You’ve been a great help to me in the past and now I need you again. I have a large amount of perennials that I’ve dug up as I’m re-doing all my gardens. If anyone is interested in these free plants, they will need a truck to pick them up. Call 946-4011. Thank you for all you do.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Regarding the July 16 Sun Spots, Goss Berry Farm also sells fresh Maine-grown peaches. We are located at 311 Elm St. in Mechanic Falls. The phone number is 346-6811. This is not pick-your-own; they are sold at our farm stand only. We will post on our Facebook page when the peaches are ready, but we are expecting them in mid- to late-August.
Currently, the farm has pick-your-own as well as already picked raspberries and high-bush blueberries for sale. Already picked strawberries are available now through October.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I hope you can help me. I would like to know where I could exchange my Canadian change for U.S. currency. I have asked some of the banks, but they have not been able to help me. I enjoy Sun Spots very much.
—No name, Greene
ANSWER: I have never had trouble exchanging Canadian money at my credit union. If for some reason your bank where you have an account is unable to exchange you money there on the spot, they really should know where to send you to complete your transaction. That is simple customer service! Key Bank, TD Bank and Bank of America are just a few financial institutions that should be able to help you get that “change” changed!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: In the Lewiston Sun Journal on July 18, there was an article about Brunswick photographer Benjamin Williamson saying that his photograph, taken on Bailey Island at sunrise, was chosen for a U.S. stamp series. Are these stamps available and how can I get them? Thanks for all the wonderful help you give us all each day!
—Ruth, West Paris
ANSWER: This 20-stamp series, issued on July 4 in Colorado, is entitled “America the Beautiful.” Each stamp in the series is correlated with a phrase from the well-known song. Williamson’s Bailey Island image of waves crashing into the rocks on our beautiful, rugged Maine coastline illustrates the song’s last line, “From sea to shining sea.”
The stamps are available at your local post office. You can also order any stamps of your choosing online at usps.com or by calling 1-800-275-8777. The customer service representatives are very helpful.
