NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group continues its summer season with a First Friday Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St.. The gallery will be exhibiting the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in Western Maine.

Featured at the Main Street Gallery in August are the paintings of Sandra Bell, Western Maine Art Group’s Artist of the Month. Sandra is a Center Lovell resident and WMAG member. A representational artist, she paints in a variety of styles. Her subjects range from unique views of western Maine to humorous narratives and still life, all with a feeling of spontaneity. Sandra will be present to discuss her evolution as an artist.

Please join us at our opening and view the collection of original arts, mosaics, landscapes, figurative paintings, still life paintings, jewelry, and more.

The Main Street Gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

For more information, art classes, demonstrations and special trips sponsored by the WMAG visit westernmaineartgroup.org and Facebook, Main Street Gallery. The gallery is free and open to the public.
