NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays beginning July 10.
This month, Karen Fillebrown will lead a craft activity at 4 p.m. Visitors may bring their own project to work on and a light supper if they wish.
Volunteers are at the center to talk with or to assist in finding a needed comfort item such as a hat, wig or pillow. Other resources are also available and activities are offered from time to time.
The center is in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building at 199 Main St. It’s open for drop-in visits from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
All programs are free to anyone impacted by cancer, survivors and caregivers.
