DURHAM — Carleton D. Morrison, 65, of Durham passed away at home Sunday, June 24, with his family by his side.
He was born in Portland on March 13, 1953, a son of the late George and Christine (Clark) Morrison. He lived his entire life in the southern or central parts of Maine, and attended school in Yarmouth. He was married to Julianne Ruff to this day.
Carleton was a member of the Pownal Fire Department and the Durham Amvets. He worked at Dingley Press for many years, and then drove over the road for HO Wolding for 10-plus years. He loved to hunt and fish, and was quick with a hug and to say, “Things will work out.”
Carleton is survived by his wife, Julianne Ruff Morrison; two sisters: Patricia Piela of Auburn and Kelly Morrison of New Gloucester; two brothers: Dennis Morrison of Florida and Danny Morrison of Yarmouth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
You are invited to offer your condolences and share fond memories with the family by visiting Carleton’s guestbook at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
