LOVELL — Lovell United Church of Christ will have $2-a-bag sale at its Thrift Shop on Saturday, June 30; Monday, July 2; and Saturday through Saturday, July 7 to 14, on Route 5 .

TURNER — The Turner Public Library has announced its book sale schedule this year. For the first time, the sale will be held over four days, with more books being added to the tables every day, and the sale will end with a Blow-Out Sale.
Most hardcovers will be priced at $1, most paperbacks priced at 50 cents, and most children’s books four for $1. On the final day, all books will be offered at $3 per bag.
Book Sale dates and times are Saturday, June 30, from 8:30 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, July 3, from noon to 3 p.m.; Wednesday, July 4, from 8:30 to 1 p.m.; and Thursday, July 5, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
On Saturday morning, refreshments will be served. On Tuesday, the sale will be held during library hours, giving shoppers an opportunity to meet the staff and to check out the many new offering there. On Wednesday, the library’s July 4 Festival on the Green takes place, featuring games, a parade and strawberry shortcake. And on Thursday, July 5, paper grocery-sized bags will be provided for the Blow-Out Sale.
The sale takes place in the Community Room of the Leavitt Institute Building, 98 Matthews Way, Turner. WATERFORD — Waterford Library, 663 Waterford Road, will old its annual book sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 4.
All proceeds support the library.

WATERFORD — The Waterford Summer Breakfast indoor yard sale will be from from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, in the basement of the Wilkins Community House at the foot of Plummer Hill Road, next to the Waterford Congregational Church.
Sales will coincide with breakfasts. Future breakfasts are Wednesdays, July 18 and Aug. 1 and 15.
Income from the yard sales goes to the maintenance funds for the Wilkins Community House and the Waterford Congregational Church.
