New Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will meet Monday, July 2. The business meeting and open bingo will start around 11:30 a.m. followed by a light lunch.

Tickets will be sold for the ham and potato salad dinner on Monday, July 16, for  $6.

Seniors 50 and older are welcome to attend Off-Monday Bingo at around noon on Mondays, July 9, 23 and 30. 

All functions are held at the Sacred Heart Church.

New board members are Lorraine Vaillancourt, Irene Obie, Pauline Gemme, and Jackie Demers.

Declaration of Independence reading

NEW GLOUCESTER — A public reading of the Declaration of Independence will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, at the New Gloucester History Barn, 383 Intervale Road, behind the Town Hall.

This will be free and open to the public and sponsored by the New Gloucester Historical Society. 

Farm to table cooking class

LEWISTON — The Ark & Olive Branch Cafe will offer a Farm to Table cooking class at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at 791 Lisbon St. with nutritionist Cheryl Farley.

Vendors sought for craft fair

AUBURN — Clover Health Care is seeking crafters and sellers of homemade jams and jellies to sell at its Early Bird Harvest Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.
