AUBURN — Jerome A. Dostie, 80, a resident of Auburn passed away Saturday, June 23, at the Clover Health Care Facility, following a long illness.

He was born in Auburn, July 5, 1937, the son of Albert and Carmen (Foisy) Dostie.

Jerome married the love of his life, the former Dorothy Stubbs, on Dec. 15, 1957, and she passed away Jan. 29, 2002.

He was self-employed as a local dry wall contractor for many years, and he later was employed with the Minot Consolidated School Maintenance Department.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Dostie, of Salt Lake City, UT.; two daughters: Jeannine Dostie Jacobs and Denise Driscoll, both of Florida; two brothers: Richard Dostie of Auburn and Francis Dostie of Minot; two sisters: Claudette Morency of Lisbon and Claire Caron of Scarborough. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Brett, Jason, Denika, Keith L., Danielle and Timothy; and nine great-grandchildren: Alex, Kristina, Allison, Kristopher, Andrew, Kloie, Ava, Kayden and Ruby.

Besides his wife, Dorothy, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert, and his mother, Carmen.
