PARIS — Colton Carson set the tone for Bessey Motors in a sweep of Locke Mills on Saturday. He threw a complete-game one-hitter in a 7-0 victory in game one, with six strikeouts and one walk.

Johnny Pruett had two hits and an RBI in the win, while Ashton Kennison had a double and an RBI. Hunter LaBossiere and Caden Truman each had an RBI in the victory.

In game two, Bessey Motors’ bats continued to be hot in a 16-3 victory in five innings. Locke Mills (1-3) did jump out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first. Dillon DeRoches led the game off with a triple and scored the first run of the inning.

Bessey Motors took the lead in the third, scoring four times to take a 6-3 lead. The hosts added eight runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth.

Janek Luksza had three hits for Bessey, including a double. Troy Johnson had a double and a single, driving in four runs. Kennison had a pair of hits and three RBIs. Wyatt Williamson had two hits and two RBIs, while Hunter LaBossiere had a pair of hits.

Cam Slicer also doubled for Bessey Motors (4-0).
