Kevin and Alexandra White
CANTON — Alexandra Christine Lucas, daughter of David and Jamie Lucas of Farmington, and Kevin Michael White, son of Joseph and Rebecah White of Rumford, were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Golden Pond, home of the bridegroom. Pastor Shepard Swain performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride was escorted in by her father, David Lucas. She wore an ivory strapless gown with veil headpiece and carried ivory roses and purple orchids. Amy Roberts, friend of the bride, served as her matron of honor, Elyse Lucas, sister of the bride, and Bonnie White, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. The girls wore amethyst colored dresses.
Joseph White, brother of the bridegroom, Mark Irving, future brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Michael Porter and Samuel Smith, friends of the bridegroom, and Calan Lucas, brother of the bride, served as groomsmen. Isaac White, nephew of the bridegroom, was happy to serve as the ring bearer.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed as an education technician at Rumford Elementary School.
The bridegroom is a 2006 home school graduate and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta. He is employed as an application analyst at Catalyst Paper Mill.
A reception was held at Farmington Baptist Church. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Ireland and now reside at their home in Canton.
