POLAND — Jeremy E. Day Furlong passed away at the age of 36 on June 3, due to complications of diabetes Type 1.
He was born Feb. 11, 1982. He was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy and attended Central Maine and Southern Maine Technical Colleges for business management.
Jeremy was an expert skier, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He loved animals and rescued many strays. Everyone who knew him loved him for his sense of humor and passion for life.
Jeremy attended Mass at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston. He was among the first group of children to receive their First Communion at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Fryeburg.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jocelyn Jones Furlong.
He leaves behind two beloved sons, Camden Michael and Isaiah William Furlong.
Jeremy is survived and deeply missed by his parents, Jennifer and Walter Day; his brother, Ethan Allen C. Day, of Sweden; and his partner, Samantha Hinson, of Lewiston. Jeremy is also deeply mourned by his grandmother, Barbara Clune, and great-aunt, Joan Kinner, both of Poland. He is mourned by his aunt and uncle, Suzanne and Stephen Davies, of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and his dear friend, James Whorley; as well as numerous cousins and extended family members.
