Eagles to host Texas Hold’em 

RUMFORD — Fraternal Order of Eagles host Texas Hold’em poker tournaments on the second Thursday of each month.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. Games will start at 6 p.m. There will be a $50 buy-in with a $5 high hand as well as a 50/50 raffle. The kitchen will be open from 4 to 6 p.m.

FARMINGTON — The SeniorsPlus office will be open for scheduled appointments Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Walk-in hours are from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and will be held on the second Thursday of every month.

Pirate Escape Room challenge

PARIS — Deering Memorial Community Center invites Oxford Hills adventurers to face the challenges of its pirate-themed Escape Room fundraiser Father’s Day weekend.

Up to eight participants a time will have 45 minutes to locate the treasure and escape a sinking pirate ship, solving a series of puzzles through careful observation, teamwork, logic and luck.

The challenges will begin at the top of each hour, with the event going from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 15; 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 16; and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 17.
