RUMFORD — Marilyn “Faye” Mercier, 80, of Mexico died Friday, June 1, at the Rumford Community Home, Rumford.
She was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Rumford, the daughter of Lawrence and Delma (Legere) Libby, and graduated from Stephens High School, class of 1958, in Rumford.
She had been a salesclerk at Myrals Store in Rumford, and was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church.
Faye was married in Rumford on Dec. 16, 1961, to Leonard A, Mercier, who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include a daughter, Jo-Helen Tolman, and husband, Frank, of Pittsfield; a son, Michael Mercier, of Harrisburg, Pa.; and grandchildren Christopher, Nathaniel, Caleb, Tiffany, Brandon and Joshua.
