LEWISTON — Lucille St.Pierre, 73, of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, May 29, at CMMC following a courageous seven-year battle with multiple myeloma.
She was born in Lewiston, daughter of Honoree and Georgianna Pomerleau.
She had been employed at Bates College in Lewiston for 23 years upon her retiring in 2011, and previous to that she worked many years at Knapp Shoe in Lewiston.
She enjoyed many family gatherings of lobster feeds with her husband, Lucien, and family and friends. She enjoyed going to Oxford Casino. She was also known to bring the most delicious peanut butter fudge to any gatherings she attended.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50-plus years, Lucien St. Pierre Jr.; her daughter, Judy Fournier, and fiancee, William Martin; two grandsons, Anthony and Austin Fournier of Sabattus; two brothers, Andre Pomerleau and his wife Jeanne, Marcel Pomerleau; her brother-in-law, Claude St. Pierre, and his wife, Jeannine; two sisters-in-law, Sr. Pauline St. Pierre and Diane Violette; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Roland and Richard Pomerleau; in-laws Lucien and Yvonne St. Pierre; and her son-in-law, Denis Fournier.
