CANTON — Rose A. (Jacobs) Bushie, 90, died Thursday, May 31, at Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Canton. She resided on Route 2 in Rumford.

Born in Lunenburg, Vt., on Feb. 23, 1928, she was a daughter of Isaac and Rose (Raymond) Bushie Sr. Rose graduated from St. Theresa Grammar School and attended schools in Mexico and Rumford. For over 32 years she worked at Diamond International in West Peru as a wrapper in the Spring Pins Department and then for four years at M.C.I. in Andover as a custodian. She was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford.

Survivors include her daughter, Caralie Sastamoine, and husband, Charles, of Dixfield; grandchildren Erica Blodgett and husband, Tim, of Peru, Sean Galarneau and wife, Tammy, of North Carolina, Michelle Dyer and husband, Brad, of Carthage; great-grandchildren Timothy Blodgett II of Lewiston, Nicholas Blodgett and wife, Ashley, of Mexico, Curtis Blodgett of Peru; great-great-grandchildren Gabriel and Brayden Blodgett of Mexico; a sister, Pauline Chase, of Wayne; two brothers, Richard Bushie of Maryland and Theodore Bushie of New York.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Theresa Downs and Eleanor Beams; and two brothers Isaac Bushie Jr. and Raymond Bushie; and a special brother-in-law, Robert Beams Sr.
