WAXHAW, N.C. — Monica Lynn Henry, 50, of Waxhaw, N.C., a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away March 9, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Bangor, a daughter of Gerald R. and Annette (Rancourt) Henry.
Monica was a graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, N.J., where she played on the softball team, was goalie on the field hockey team and played trumpet in the band.
Following graduation, she was employed as a supervisor at Great Adventure. She later was employed as a broker with Merrill Lynch and was an assistant vice president at Met Life, until she became ill.
Monica enjoyed doing cross-stitching, drawing and spending time with her daughter, Autumn.
She will be forever remembered by her wife and best friend, Karen, and their precious child, Autumn Skye; her mom, Annette (Rancourt) Henry; her brother, Dr. Gerald Henry, and his wife, Emily, and their children Ethan, Ayden and Jacob.
Monica was predeceased by her father.
