A 20-year-old Windham man was charged with drunk driving after he failed to stop at an intersection and slammed into six parked cars Tuesday night in Gorham.

Gorham police say Hudson Adams was traveling south on Gray Road, also known as Route 202, when he failed to stop at the Main Street stop sign and hit four carsparked in the driveway of 199 Main St. His car then crossed over a section of grass and hit two other cars parked at 193 Main St.

All of the cars were unoccupied when they were hit.

Adams, who was not injured, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and operating a vehicle without a license. He was taken to Cumberland County Jail and placed on a probation hold for violating his probation.
