LEWISTON — Discussion of “The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit,” 6 p.m., Lewiston Public Library, Callahan Hall. The book by Michael Finkle chronicles the true story of Christopher Knight. Until his arrest, Knight lived alone in the woods in the North Pond area of Maine for 27 years, existing on items stolen from nearby cabins and camps. District Attorneys Andrew Robinson and Meaghan Maloney will speak.
