David and Amy Finley

AUBURN — The wedding of Amy Chipman and David Finley was held at 3:30 p.m. on May 20, 2017 at the First Universalist Church in Auburn.

Mrs. Finley is the daughter of Ronald Chipman and Beverly Chipman of Binghamton, New York. Mr. Finley is the son of Scott Finley and Laurie Finley, also of Binghamton.

Serving as maid of honor was Heidi Chipman, sister of the bride. Madison Finley, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. There were also four bridesmaids in attendance.

Performing the duties of best man was Steven Finley, brother of the bridegroom. Ethan Graham, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. There were also four groomsmen in attendance.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. They are residing in Binghamton, New York.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Poland Regional High School and a 2012 graduate of Elmira College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and mathematics. She received a master’s degree in library science in 2016 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is currently employed as a fourth-grade teacher in Deposit, New York.

The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Newark Valley High School in Newark Valley, New York, and a 2010 graduate of the State University of New York in Binghamton, New York. He is currently employed as a software engineer at L3 Communications in Kirkwood, New York.
