DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Fiddlehead School of Arts and Sciences will hold its Fourth Annual Giant Tag Sale to benefit the school on Sunday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school at 25 Shaker Road in Gray. Anyone wishing to rent a space to sell their goods is required to register in advance and pay for the space at the time of registration. Community members can rent a space for $30. Spaces are 8.5 feet by 15 feet and can accommodate one 8-foot table per space. Vendors must bring a table. Vendor space is limited. Rain date is Sunday, June 3. DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Mechanic Falls Public Library will offer a seed planting workshop for children and adults. We have non-GMO heirloom seeds available and will have all the supplies needed to plant several varieties.

The workshop will be at 4 p.m. May 31 on the third floor of the Mechanic Falls Public Library, 108 Lewiston St. We will also offer the workshop on June 9 at 10 a.m. Our future goal is to have a seed library available for patrons. We will include directions on how to dry the seeds for the fall.
