NORWAY — Martha A. Damon, 68, of South Paris passed away on Sunday, May 13, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Sumner on July 5, 1949, the daughter of John “Jack” and Anna Holt Henderson. She married Roland M. “Pee Wee” Damon and had worked at Oxford County Telephone and Telegraph. She had been a bookkeeper for Bancroft Contracting for 12 years and retired from Community Concepts. She had been a candlepin bowler for 35 years, was the Maine State Champion and bowled in several leagues.
She enjoyed her family, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her partner of 20 years, Christopher Tripp; her sons, R. Matthew and Daniel; three stepchildren, Charity McAllister and husband, Earl, Chris Tripp and wife, Maria, and Amy Tripp; four grandchildren, Ashley, Madeline and Hunter McAllister and Neagan Dakin; her brothers, Quentin Henderson, Fred Henderson, Paul Henderson, Dennis Henderson and Edison Henderson; her sister, Donna Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland; her brother, Thomas; and her sister, Sally.
