LIVERMORE — The Washburn-Norlands Living History Center, a 19th-century museum and working farm at 290 Norlands Road, seeks artists, crafters and historical exhibitors for its biennial Strawberry Festival & Heritage Day, to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23. 

Crafters and artists are welcome to exhibit, demonstrate and sell original artwork. All items must be handmade, not mass-produced, store-bought, resale or imported items. Historical societies and museums are also wanted to exhibit or demonstrate antiques, collections or educational materials. Norlands is not seeking food vendors at this time. 

Vendors are encouraged to register early to be included in all promotional opportunities and to save on the application fee. Application fees range from $10-$25 and members of Norlands enjoy an additional 20 percent discount on fees.

The early bird rate deadline is Friday, May 18. Applications are subject to approval. Applications may be found on Norlands’ website at www.norlands.org/latest-news.html.

In addition to the craft fair, visitors to this event enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, tours of the historic Washburn family mansion and farmer’s cottage, the one-room schoolhouse, special living history activities, craft activities for children and homemade strawberry shortcake. All proceeds, including vendor application fees, directly benefit the Norlands, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
