LEWISTON — Sheila Ann Page, 56, formerly of Poland, gained her Angel wings surrounded by her siblings Wednesday, May 2, at Central Maine Medical Center.
Sheila A. Morris was born Dec. 12, 1961, to the late Robert M. Morris and the late Lois M. Morris. She graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1980 and attended Penobscot Job Corps where she received her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
Sheila married the late Chester Page who was the love of her life, and together they enjoyed camping, bonfires, visiting with family and friends and appreciating the simple things in life. Sheila loved lighthouses and covered bridges and had the opportunity to visit most of them in New England. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and canning, and she was an excellent baker. Sheila was a great mother to two children, a wonderful and devoted grandmother who shared an extremely close relationship with her granddaughter Alyssa and an aunt to many nieces and nephews who fondly remember her as always having fresh-baked treats for them to enjoy. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years, touching the lives of many for whom she cared at, most recently, Clover Manor until a debilitating stroke took over her life in August 2015.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sheila was predeceased by her father-in-law, Dale Page, and her mother-in-law, Bernice (Helen) Page.
Sheila is survived by a daughter, Michelle Burgess of Brookline, Fla.; a son, Dale Page of Bridgton; brothers, Robin Buswell of Turner, Richard Buswell of Litchfield and Irvin (Skip) Morris of Norway; sisters, Joyce Kilpatrick of Auburn, Brenda Morris of Eliot, and Karen Morris-Arsenault and Neda Washer of Lewiston; and four grandchildren.
The siblings wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the Emergency Department and M1 staff at CMMC with special acknowledgement to nurses Danielle, Nicole and Meghan.
