LEWISTON — Uplift LA is offering a free workshop, Speed Networking, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Hampton by Hilton, 15 Lincoln St.

The workshop will target people who are nervous about networking and who shy away from professional events because they don’t know who’s who or what to say. It’s designed to help people bridge the introduction gap and grow a professional network. There will be tips for making the introduction and discuss how to follow up.
