BETHEL — The Smile Fund helps adults who meet financial guidelines and are employed or seeking employment and need dentures. The dentures from Smile Again Dentures in Lewiston are paid for by fundraising.
The Smile Fund yard sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the West Parish Congregational Church, Park Street.
Call the church for an application at 207-824-2689. All applications are confidential.
The church has been offering dentures to the community since 2003.
Donations may be brought to the church basement in the afternoons. The sale is looking for toys, tools, books, knick knacks, housewares, electronics and gardening supplies.

TURNER — The seventh annual live Auction for Action to support the Rural Community Action Ministry will open at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Boofy Quimby Memorial Center, Route 219.
Proceeds will benefit hunger and homeless prevention services in more than 14 towns in the Lewiston-Auburn region.
There will be live and silent auction items from antiques to handmade quilts to gift certificates from regional businesses. Ed Wheaton will be auctioneer and music will be provided by Stan Davis and Chase Stewart.
A barbecue will be held and there will be door prizes. Admission is free. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.

WILTON — The annual Wilton Scholarship Auction will take place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Academy Hill School. There will be free homemade desserts.
Auction donations are welcome at the door or call 207-645-3894 for pickup. All proceeds will benefit the Wilton Scholarship Foundation.

FARMINGTON — A community yard sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Farmington Community Center, 127 Middle St.
Spaces will be available for rent: $10 for those bringing a six- to eight-foot table and $15 for those needing a table.
Set-up time will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 18, and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19. Vendors are required to stay for the entire time of the yard sale and clean-up will be from 4 to 6 p.m. the day of, or from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, May 20.
