RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial Honoring the life of Leah Elizabeth Blouin was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Nathan March was the celebrant, assisted by Deacon Rod Kuhl. Prior to Mass, “Wind Beneath My Wings” was sung by sister-in-law, Trish Blouin.

Personal reflections were shared by lifelong friend, Keith Grassette.

The Old and New Testament readings were proclaimed by cousins the Rev. Shannon Thompson and Lena Theriault.

The Prayers of the Faithful were offered by cousin B.B. Scheld.

Offertory gifts were presented by cousin Brittany Wakefield and friend, Hope Fallon.

At the conclusion of Mass, a poem was read by cousin Lena Theriault.

Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “On Eagles Wings,” “Gentle Woman” and “Fly Like a Bird.”

A reception followed in the parish hall, served by the Daughters of Isabella.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
