FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Children’s Task Force is holding its “That ’70s” Dance Party 40th Anniversary Celebration from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, April 28, in the University of Maine at Farmington’s North Dining Hall. Guests are invited to dress in their best ’70s attire and dance the night away to hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and today. Cocktail hour, awards and prizes will be from 6 to 7 p.m.
This is a 21-plus only event and a cash bar will be open all night. A $100 cash prize will be awarded for best ’70s couple’s costume. Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 per person and $25 per couple at the door. They can be purchased in advance through Eventbrite.com, by visiting its Facebook Event page or by visiting Calico Patch in Farmington or the White Elephant in Strong.
