PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Georgette C. Jalbert of Plymouth, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 13, 2015, at her home in Plymouth, Mass.
She was born in Lewiston on July 31, 1921, the daughter of Ernest and Aurelie (Dostie) Samson and the sister of Raoul and Paul. She attended St. Peter’s School and Lewiston High School.
She worked at the Pepperell Mill and later part-time at Cummings Cleaners in Lewiston. Georgette married Roger Jalbert on Feb. 5, 1949, and they made their home on Genest Street.
Georgette loved being home, but she also liked to walk, even as far as St. Peter’s School where she served lunch. She and Roger also walked many miles in Plymouth, Mass., where they would visit their daughter, Suzanne.
Georgette is survived by her daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Pasquel, and their son, Joseph.
