NORWAY — Richard “Dick” A. Wing, 78, of Woodstock passed away Thursday, April 5, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lewiston on July 1, 1939, the son of Elmer “Pete” and Catherine Elphinstone Wing. He attended Woodstock High School and had worked for the MDOT for 31 years as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling, lawn-mowing, washing cars and watching Pine Tree League baseball. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren a lot.

He is survived by his children, Rick Wing and his companion Laurie Knight of South Woodstock and Kellie Lima and husband Vinny; grandchildren, Ryan Wing, Doug Wing, Sarah Draper and Jessie Komulainen; great-grandchildren, Theo, Bennett, Eliot, Finnegan, Zachary, Landon, Brayden, Logan and William; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Andrea Poland Wing.
