NORWAY — A public hearing will be held at the 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, Board of Selectmen meeting to discuss an application for an outdoor festival permit for the Norway Music and Arts Festival scheduled for July 14.
Selectmen also will hear from Pat Martin with the Norway Farmers Market about getting an application to allow vendors to sell craft beer on site. According to the meeting agenda, the beer would not be consumed on site.
Other items on the agenda include:
• Acceptance of grants and donations to support the town’s softball program, the police K-9 program, the Rail to Trail Project from Norway Downtown and the Town Office panic-alarm system;
• Discussion of the proposed 2018-19 fiscal year budget and draft meeting schedule;
• Report on undesignated and unassigned fund balance;
• Sewer abatements for 8 Pleasant St. and 28 Water St.;
• Signing of quitclaim deeds.
