AUBURN — Forty-two students at Central Maine Community College were inducted March 26 into the Alpha Phi Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges.
Chapter officers installed were Melissa Potter, president; Walter DuBeau, vice president; Adam Soto, public relations secretary; Jessica Lemay, treasurer; Kassie Schmidt, recording secretary; and Charles Smith, officer-at-large.
To be eligible for Phi Theta Kappa membership, students must be pursuing an associate degree and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
The following students were inducted this semester:
Riley Allen, Lauren Manchester, William Bishop, Shannon McCoy, Courtney Bolding, Amanda Monaghan, Michael Bourque, Aric Moody, Melinda Catanese, Emma-Rose Moore, Michael Chapman, Samuel Moreau, Monique Collins, Myrna Morisseau, Mallory Doiron, Kelly Pschirrer, Sarah Dudley- Taylor and Anthony Reardon.
Also, Aubrey Edmonds, William Rolfe, Cathy Gray, Austin Scamman, Nancy Guay, Michaela Shannon, Alexander Harris, Bennett Shaw, Victoria Hazzard, Kacie Simpson, Micayla Hill, Charles Smith, Crystal House, Lydia Symonds, Kenny Huynh, Kayla Thayer, Grace Kidd, Tyler Tibbetts, Andrea Lapointe, Dedieu Wabwende, Kryston Lemay, Emma Williams, Allison Mains, and Mohamed Yarrow.
