LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced that patrons are now able to check out two books (instead of one) from the new shelf.

The book group will continue its series, “She Persisted: Biographies of Great Women in History” at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 12, with “Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland.” During the series readers will explore notable women from many walks of life, including entertainers, authors and political figures.

The knit/crochet group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24. All levels of skill are welcome.

The LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21. The challenge this month will be making marble mazes.

Preschool Story Time is held at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday for stories, songs, activities and a craft to bring home.

The library will be closed Tuesday, April 17, in observance of Patriots’ Day.
