LEWISTON — Tickets for the fifth annual Emerge Film Festival went on sale Wednesday.

The festival is scheduled for April 26-28.

To kick off ticket sales, organizers are offering a buy-one, get-one-free promotion through noon Friday. Individual tickets are $50 for an all-access pass, $25 for a Friday-only pass and $35 for Saturday-only pass.

Tickets can be purchased on the festival’s website, emergefilmfestival.org. Ticket buyers must use the discount code “EMERGEBOGO” at checkout to get the discount.

The festival celebrates independent filmmaking, with a special emphasis on student and Maine films. It features full-length films, documentaries and shorts.

Organizers have yet to release the list of films selected for this year.
