ATLANTA, GA — The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced it’s annual awards for two-year colleges. USCAA All-American, Brooke Reynolds and head coach Andrew Morong were both recognized by the association.
After leading the Lady Mustangs back to the USCAA National Championship game, Reynolds was named a 2018 WBCA Two-Year College All-American Honorable Mention selection. It is the first time a member of the women’s basketball program has been recognized by the association and Reynolds was the only student-athlete from New England to be recognized.
Coach Morong was recognized as a finalist for the 2018 United States Marine Corps/WBCA Two-Year College National Coach of the Year award. After leading CM to a 33-1 record and a national championship in 2017, Morong guided the Lady Mustangs to a 30-2 record and another appearance in the USCAA National Championship game. Chad Killinger of Moberly Area Community College (MO) was the award recipient this year.
