AUBURN — Patricia F. Duval, 77, of Auburn peacefully passed away after a long illness Thursday, March 15, at the Sarah Frye Home in Auburn with her loving family by her side. She was born in North Auburn on June 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alma (Haley) Cheetham. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools there.
On Feb. 9, 1957, she married the love of her life, Donald H. Duval Sr. Soon after they were married, they moved to Lisbon and started a family together. After being a stay-at-home mom for over 10 years, Pat worked for various shoe shops including Bonan and Falcon Shoe.
Later on in life she became a CNA and proudly enjoyed her work and helping to serve people. She found much satisfaction in nursing.
She will always be remembered for her love of bowling, roller skating, dancing, sewing and knitting clothing items for her family. One of her standout qualities was her fantastic cake decorating. A quality so special, she passed it on to most of her children.
