LITCHFIELD — Betsey Soule Boothby, 75, of Litchfield, passed away at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn on Thursday, March 8.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1942, in Brockton, Mass., to Howard Soule and Ruth Andrew Neville. She worked for 30 years as a licensed social worker for Catholic Charities Maine.
Betsey is survived by her husband, Gary Boothby; sister, Hilary Briles and husband, Mike, of Annapolis, Md.; children, Chris Reynolds and wife, Joy, of Ohio; Karen Richardson and partner, Mark McCabe, of Turner; stepsons, Jason Houston and wife, Lucinda, of Monmouth and Matthew Aube of Lewiston; grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Reynolds of Ohio, Kayla Richardson of Mass., and Melissa Richardson of Turner; and step-grandchildren, Anderson, Campbell and Delaney Houston of Monmouth and Tyson Aube of Lewiston.
