LEWISTON — Jaclyn T. Weed-Scott, of 99 Webber Ave., Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday, March 1. She was born April 6, 1965, in Milton, Mass., a daughter of David Weed and Patricia Mahar.
Jaclyn graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of ‘84, and St. Mary’s School of Nursing. For the next 27 years she dedicated her life to nursing. She will be sadly missed by her nursing colleagues. Jaclyn had a vibrant personality and her smile would light up a room.
Survivors include her dad, David Weed, and his lifelong companion, Ruth; stepfather, Walter Mahar, of Florida; her sister, Charlene Brown, of Raymond; her uncle, Ronnie Scott, and his wife, Blanche; her beloved cousin, Jimmy; her nieces, Katie Stanley, Amanda Greenleaf; nephew, Matthew Mahar; uncles, Billy Weed, Bobby Weed; and many family members in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area. She also leaves her bestie friend, Julie Dresser, of Auburn, and her companion, Greg Daigneault, of Lewiston. She is survived also by her pets, German shepherd Xena; cats, Pokeo and Jazzie.
She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Mahar; Uncle Lee; and other family members, as well as her German shepherd, Sheeba. Jaclyn will be sadly missed by all.
